Why Join?

The Nanaimo Division is deeply rooted in our local community; allowing Physicians to build strong relationships with colleagues and contribute meaningfully to the health of their region.

Divisions empower Family Physicians to shape health care policy and deliver. Through collaboration, members identify care gaps, improve access, and develop innovative, community-tailored solutions!
​
There is no obligation or cost to join. Division funding from the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC) is established on a per-member basis. This funding provides support to Physicians for their time on working groups and provides infrastructure funds for member-identified priorities and Division events, e.g. continuing medical education events (CMEs).
