Emily Boon

Emily joined the division in September 2024 as the Governance and Partnerships Coordinator. She works with the PCN to coordinate the governance processes to ensure we have effective systems in place to support the work of the Primary Care Network. Emily has a varied and unique education and employment history, from her early days as a MOA and a Starbucks barista to working for the government both in the provincial legislature and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

 

She also worked with various non-profits including a career highlight at the Victoria Symphony. Her diploma in Hospitality Management, BA in English Literature and MBA could not prepare her for her most demanding and greatest role to date, being a mum to her young daughter. Emily loves sharing a good meal with family and friends, watching live performances, reading a good book, and is a proud member of the cult of Peloton.
